Been making short films for a few years now. We are currently making our first feature film "Jimmy Wilde" with guest roles from The Bill's Shaun Scott & Porridge and Allo Allo's Sam Kelly. POV, Now & Forever, Clock Edd & Don't Get Caught were all made for this Virgin Media Shorts forum and anotherm, Caged, will appear before the end of the week. Did I say we are making a feature...
Holy sh- moly!
That was great. Terrifying. I didn't see the end coming, that's for sure. I will say that I started getting board in the beginning - I thought the filming was sloppy (we saw her leave the book at the couch, then it was on the table) - but the split screen was absolutely redeeming, and the fact that she was dead then justified the "unexplained" moving of things. I thought this was pretty original - and very impressive. Great job!

I thought it was really good, i don't understand how Jasmine Jewell could say that she was bored for god sake it only last's two and half minutes.Loved the fact it was filmed in black and white and so many little hidden things going on that some people might not pick up on.Just a brilliant film.

Was this film 'inspired' by The Others, by any chance...?

Well I didn't think this had anything to do with The Others. Didn't resemble it one bit. Ghosts movies have been done for years. Maybe more like the Sixth Sense perhaps.
A pretty cool little movie. I felt really sorry for this woman and really terrified at the shocking ending. Loved all the stuff with the book as somebody has already pointed out.
The split screen was genius to be used that way, didn't see it coming and the music was haunting and romantic at the same time.
This is as good as it gets for a 2 minute 30 short. Good character, nice simple story and a kick in the ass twist.
Loved it.

Very impressed. Great music, pacing and great twist! Good idea to use black and white and colour for the twist. Love the actress! Have you got her number...?

Shivilenco is often associated with slightly zany comedies, but there are a few haunting gems in their shorts back catalogue and this is up there with them.

Great stuff. Very slick. A lot happens in such a short space of time - we get the story, feeling and perceptions of both characters - brilliant.
Loved the twist at the end.

Liking your work, intriguing cinematography and excellent concept. Soundtrack is a little cheesy though, overall an absorbing short.

Viewed this acouple of times now and have come to the conclusion that it's a very clever short. Love filmmakers who put little things in and don't sign post them. love the books ( I think ther are more than 3) love the misic (which I didn't hear first time around) and love the litle sounds (Birds tweds whistling whenthe girl is talking and the ticking of the clock when the guy turn sup...real time I suspect). Love it all. Fell off my chair the first time I saw it. Not a great one for a second viewing. Top marks
chillin, brilliant, moving, WOW, how can so much be fittet into this excellent film. well thought out and written. The music is brilliant (not cheesy at all) as is the acting and editing. Take all the positive notes from this fab film and when will be seeing it on the big screen?!!
Good luck guy's top marks 10 out of 10 for me!
