I have been working as a director for the past few years on a wide variety of productions from promos to corporate to commercials. My passion remains narrative story telling, whether through a short film, a story, a photograph or a doodle. I have written and directed a number of shorts during the past six years and am developing various feature projects.

It is beautifully shot. I'm guessing there is also a slightly confusing but deep meaningful message in there. I don't have the energy right now to work out what the message is so I'll simply say it was very pretty.

Fantastic use of music to supplement an eerie and disturbing message; film noir in two minutes is not easy, but you made it look so. A really chilling and wonderful short.

very emotive, thought provoking and brilliant production values!

I beleive the most difficult thing to do nowadays is to keep a story simple. and it works very well for that reason.

i was just wondering what it was shot on? theres no way thats DV is it?

Cinematographer did a great job but I thought the storytelling was generally unclear during the interaction between the two characters. I also didn't get any sense that there was any meaning to the ending so it ultimately added up to very little.

The filming was sharp and well done - felt like noir. Odd timing. A few of us were just talking about the poor and homeless. Thanks for this grand film Always glad to review work that has social commentary. I wouldn't care to trade places with a homeless man even with a mundane/ regimented life - all the 'suits.' Lots of photographic symbolism.

Thanks folks, for bringing this subject to light.

Great production values, and I am going to hazard a guess that it's about the homeless man ultimately being free and 'alive' whilst the office worker lives a cold lifeless existence. Nice little flick.

I hope that the judges look beyond the technical however; not all of us can have twenty-man crews for a two minute short!

I've looked at quite a few of the films on this site and a fair number of them are to do with out of body experiences, ghosts, seeing yourself, body swapping etc. I like films to be surprising and this, I'm afraid, wasn't. Nicely shot though.
