Nice lighting and performances, and a good choice of subject.
However I would have loved to have seen another line or two between them that shows the complexity of their relationship a bit rather than thirty seconds of credits.

Very good.
But a shame you wrote 'A mayor and his wife unite together for their public' as a description, as I think the element of surprise would have been greater if this was left til the end.
Love the music, and how it dies down for the line 'you disgust me', very good timing.
and maybe, as chris said, one or two more lines would not have gone a miss..!
This was one of the best entries in the Orange Bafta awards competition. The best of luck in this comp.

The lighting was not good. There was poor key lighting on the actors eyes making them look like zombies. I couldn't see the light spot on the eyes. I did not like the dark lighting. It served no purpose and did not imply anything to do with the story. This was not a horror movie. Other wise it was well shot and framed.

Hi I can not agree about your views on the lighitng at all, it creates the story which would have been terribley ordinary without it. There is nothing horror about it and the eyes of the woman show her pain in a way that tells the whole story.
Well done for a good story told in a short time with enphasis on the creation of dramatic effect using lighitng

thanks for the comments guys, the film was originally made as a 60 second short inc credits which is why it is as it is.
Maybe we could make a My Darling Wife two and stretch it to a couple of minutes lol.
Check out our new film made last week Stephen Spielberg
